Mohammed Almarzoug founded ASASTechs and leads the company. He has 13 years of experience, including more than ten years in external audit, internal audit leadership and governance across the government, telecommunications and financial sectors.

He has held director-level roles, including Director of Operational Audit at the Ministry of Investment, and directed the set-up of the governance, risk and compliance department of the Saudi Investment Promotion Authority. Earlier, he spent six years with KPMG Saudi Arabia and managed internal financial audits at Mobily. He has built functions from the ground up and implemented internal audit management software.

MSc in Accounting, King Saud University; BA in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance), University of Central Lancashire. Fellow of the Association of Governance, Risk and Compliance, and member of The IIA’s Global Content Advisory Group.

Muhammad Imran Aslam leads the Technology Solutions practice. He has more than 18 years of experience in technology and delivery leadership, from software development and IT consulting to head of engineering and chief technology officer roles. He has founded and led technology companies delivering software, AI, healthcare and fintech solutions across Pakistan, the GCC and North America.

His work covers AI strategy and implementation, including large language models, agentic AI and retrieval-augmented generation; automation architecture and CRM and ERP integration; and enterprise delivery, programme management and digital transformation. He has advised clients in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on web, mobile and enterprise applications, and has led engineering teams through the full product lifecycle.

Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences; Master of Information Technology (Computer Science), Bahauddin Zakariya University.

Faheem Aziz brings more than 15 years of senior experience across the petrochemical, telecommunications, professional services and public sectors. He helps leadership teams run their organisations and programmes with clarity and control, from governance and risk to business continuity, and brings regulatory experience covering the United States, the European Union and Hong Kong.

He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds an MBA from Plymouth Marjon University and a BBA from the University of the Punjab.

Heshan Karunaratne brings more than 18 years of experience with international firms, including KPMG in Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia and Copal Amba, a Moody’s Analytics company, where he served as Associate Vice President.

His work centres on data analysis, business processes and performance: helping organisations understand how they operate and where to improve. He joined KPMG Saudi Arabia in 2016 and has since worked in the Saudi telecommunications sector.
